How to Pour Wine from Your Decanter without Spills:

Our decanter’s wide base is designed to aerate your wine, helping it breathe and enhancing its flavor and aroma. This graceful shape requires a gentle technique to ensure a smooth, spill-free pour. Here’s how to pour without spilling:

1. Place one hand under the base– this gives you full control over the weight.

2. Use your other hand to guide the neck – steady the movement and aim into the glass.

3. Tilt slowly and steadily– don’t rush the pour; let the wine glide out.

Avoid holding it by the neck alone—the weight of the base can cause spills For some, the base is too heavy to control from the top alone, and this is the most common cause of splashes.

Think of it like tipping a large serving bowl—you lift from the bottom and guide from the top.

A Quick Note on the Last Drops: Even with perfect technique, the final drip can sometimes splash. To prevent this, pause briefly at the end of your pour and gently twist the neck inward. For extra precision, a soft cloth or coaster touch works wonders.

Extra Tips for a Smooth Pour:

Practice with water over a towel or sink if it’s your first time.

Pour close to the glass– keeping the neck close helps prevent drips and splashing.
